How do I add students to my class?

You'll need to create a class before you can add students!

These guidelines are for adding unregistered students only.  If a student already registered to use Handouts, or was registered by another teacher, they will have to add themselves to the class using the unique PIN code for the class in question

Adding a student is easy peasy lemon squeezy!

  1. Open Handouts and log in as a teacher.
  2. Tap on the class to which you want to add the student.
  3. Tap on 'Students' (tab towards the top right of the screen).
  4. Tap on '+Add Student'.
  5. Enter the student's details and tap on 'Save' (top right of the box).  Don't forget! the student will need the password you create for them in order to log into Handouts.

Ta daa!  You are now ready to create an assignment!
